Reports results from using inelastic and quasi-elastic neutron scattering to investigate dynamics in biological systems, and describes the techniques used, date treatment, and analysis method. Covering neutrons, other techniques, molecular dynamics and simple models, and complex systems, the 28 papers focus on such aspects as neutron instrumentation in studying the dynamics of biomolecules, the vibrational spectroscopy of phosphate biominerals, anisotropy in the water anomalous diffusion around plastocyanin as studied by molecular dynamics simulation, and the metabolic regulation of selective deuterium incorporated into RNA and protein components of the ribosome.
