Editorial Notice

Notice to Subscribers, Authors and Readers

As of Volume 29, Issue 6 of 2012, Taylor & Francis will take over publication of Journal of Biomolecular Structure and Dynamics. We are pleased to report that Dr Ramaswamy Sarma will continue as Editor-in-Chief for the journal, and together with his Editorial team will work with Taylor & Francis to continue to build on the journal’s success.

What differences will you see? Firstly, an online submission and peer review site will be created for the journal, which we hope will lead to a decrease in review and publication turnaround times. Secondly, Journal of Biomolecular Structure and Dynamics will move to Taylor & Francis’ platform, where articles will be published in PDF and HTML. Our objective is for papers to be published online within six weeks of acceptance, ahead of print issues. We will host online back files of the complete volumes 1-29 on Taylor & Francis Online and readers will benefit from sophisticated tools such as RSS content feeds and social bookmarks to enable easy linking to blogs and reference management platforms. The journal will of course continue to be indexed in services such as PubMed® and Thomson Reuters’ Web of Science®.

Journal of Biomolecular Structures and Dynamics will join a growing suite of Taylor & Francis-published journals in Life Science, such as Animal Biotechnology, Biofouling, Caryologia, and Frontiers in Life Science, which we hope will be to the journal’s benefit, particularly in terms of its global visibility.
