Registration, Meals and Accommodation

Many aspects of registration, meals and accommodation are simplified to mange it better with fewer staffs. Registration fee now also includes the following meals and receptions: three receptions, seven coffee breaks, four continental breakfasts, wednesday night (June 15th) dinner and the Friday night big feast, and Saturday lunch. Housing is at the new Empire Commons, air conditioned 24 hr internet connected apartments built by the University for our students. Four separate bed rooms are connected to a common living room, kitchen and two baths etc. We have been alloted only a limited number of buildingd this year at Empire Commons. So we will use the policy of first come first serve.

You can now do registration for 17th Conversation and accommodation at Empire Commons in a single form. The required fees are collected thru the facilities of Adenine Press.

Note that we make arrangements for your accommodation only at the student residence halls, Empire Commons. If you want to make your own arrangement, the nearest hotels are: Marriott -Courtyard (518-435-1600; 1-800-321-2211), Hilton Garden Inn, SUNY Albany (518-453-1300) Extended Stay (518-446-0680; 1-800-398-7829) and Fairfield Inn (518-435-1800). They are just across the Univ, and the Empire Commons.


Registration fee will be refunded if cancelled by email by May 1, 2011, however there is an administration cost of US $100 to cover credit card processing and abstract production charges; accommodation fee will be refunded fully if cancelled by June 1 2011; late cancellation will result in the loss of the fees.

How to Do Multiple Registration Online on the Fly
Very simple; just complete the form for the first person, and hit "Add to Basket". This will take you to new page with several options. Just hit "Continue to Shop"; this will take you to the homepage where you see the banner for the 17th Conversation. Use it to get to a link to "Registration, Meals and Accommodation". Then continue with the date for the next person.

Registration Fee

The registration fee listed below also includes 3 receptions, 7 coffee breaks, 4 continental breakfasts, Wednesday night (june 15) dinner, Friday night big feast, and and Saturday lunch. We appreciate an early registration because it allows to organize the affairs properly, and to encourage this, there is a discount for early registration. Fee must be paid along with this completed from. Bonafide students must select from the right column to obtain the special discounted fee for students. They must also email a copy of their student ID to Prof. Sarma (rhs07@albany.edu).

Reservation for Accommodation at Empire Commons:

We collect fees and process accommodation at the University's brand new air conditioned, 24 hr internet connected (bring your own laptop) apartment houses (Empire Commons) built for our students. Each apartment contains 4 single bed rooms with a full double bed, a living room, kitchen and two bath rooms etc. This time we have access to only limited number of buildings at Empire Commons; So we serve on a first come basis.
