Journal Rankings and Impact Factors


The 2010 Impact Factor for the Journal of Biomolecular Structure & Dynamics (JBSD) is 4.986; it ranks 57 out of 286 in the category of journals in biochemistry and molecular biology, 12 out of 73 in the category of journals in biophysics. The data from Journal Citation Report, 2010, ISI Thomson-Reuters further show that the J Biomol Struct Dyn ranks within the top 25% of all journals in biochemistry, molecular biology and biophysics.

The 2011 data from Elsevier Scopus SCImago (http://www.scimagojr.com) shows that Cite per Doc (calculated using the same formula as Thomson's Impact factor) is 9.35, and the Journal ranks at the top 5 out of 185 in all molecular biology journals.
